How to Hit a Triple on a Skell

When we talk about triple threats some old names come to mind, like Mickey Mantle, or Paul Horning. Today, with all the specialists in sports, there aren't many guys who pose a triple threat, excepting maybe Alex Rodriguez, who will probably hold a number of records before he retires.

If you can do a number of things well in life, your stock often rises.

Fred Astaire survived a review that said, "can't act, can't sing, dances a little."

He became a Hollywood Superstar, and his career lasted over 50 years.

On the street you need an ace up your sleeve, and Mace Triple Action is your proverbial big brother, or Uncle Louie. The triple threat is OC Pepper, CN Tear Gas, and UV Marking Dye.

The OC pepper stops the skell in his tracks, and causes a wee bit of misery because the skell will feel like he just stepped into hell. His breathing will become labored.

It is a non-lethal agent that can be deadly in rare cases. The American Civil Liberties Union documented fourteen fatalities from the use of pepper spray as of 1995.[1] The active ingredient in pepper spray is capsaicin, which is a chemical derived from the fruit of plants in the Capsicum genus, including chiles.

Then the CN Tear Gas will flush his eyes and he won't be able to see anything, and he'll do some coughing that a quart of Robitussin won't stop. The UV Dye marks the skell, painting him up for an easy identification by police.

CS gas is the common name for 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile (also called o-Chlorobenzylidene Malononitrile) (chemical formula: C10H5ClN2), a substance that is used as a riot control agent and is generally accepted as being non-lethal. CS was discovered by two Americans, Ben Corson and Roger Staughton, in 1928, and the chemical gets its name from the first letters of the scientists' surnames. The compound is actually a solid at room temperature, though it is used as an aerosol.

It's a real sis boom bah wallop, one that a skell won't see coming until it's too late.

Most police carry the triple threat Mace already. Believe me, they don't carry anything that isn't effective.

Budgeting Your Money When You Own A Business

One of the most difficult things to do when you start a new business is putting together a budget. Without any financial history on which to base income and expenses, it may seem like guesswork, but as part of any business plan a tentative budget can be established with some thought and anticipation for the future.

In most businesses there are two main categories, income and expense. Under your expense category there can be several sub-categories often falling into two main areas of controllable expenses and uncontrollable. While many business owner claim they can control every expense involved in their business, they are simply kidding themselves as some things such as utility cost, the amount of rent and other so-called fixed costs can, and do change, with the owner having no control.

Other expenses such as payroll, insurance and advertising can be subject to a budget, but they are considered controllable expenses. If the business begins to fall off, you can control some of these expenses by laying off employees and cutting back on advertising. However, living by a budget will help maintain profitability in many respects but can also turn against you in the long run.

Depending on the viability of your business it often is a better investment to bite the financial bullet on employee wages and still provide good customer service to the remaining customers until business picks back up. By trying to everything yourself not only will you burn out quickly, but is no one is taking care of the customers, it will not take long until there are no more customers to care for.

There are two ways to budget your business money and that is through set dollar amounts and percentage of income. Many businesses will budget their controllable expenses by the dollar and non-controllable by percentage of income. With an obvious increase in business to create the additional income, the owner will probably need the extra help to take care of business.

There are many other expenses that fall into the payroll account such as worker’s compensation charges, Social Security tax paid by the employer and paid vacation time or other perks determined by the employer. While a budget may be difficult to establish for a new business, it is a necessary evil for all business owners.

We all use carpet spot removers to get rid of those tough stains. It is important that we use the correct product to remove those stains. Here are some things to watch out for.

Select a cleaning product that no one in your family has any allergies to. All cleaning products list the ingredients. Be mind full of younger children. If your baby is an infant ensure you get all those chemicals out of the carpet and that the spot has fully dried before letting your child crawl on the floor. This is true for pets as well.

Those cheap products from the dollar store will most likely stain. Only after testing the product can you know what damage it will do. When selecting a cleaning product ensure it is one that disinfects. You want to kill any bacteria so it will not grow and cause health issues. It is important to read the product label. It will tell you if it disinfects.

Not all products should be used for the same situation. Resolve carpet cleaner does work great for regular spills but does not always do a good job on pet urine. For specific spots like urine you should use a cleaner that is designed for cleaning urine.
Be-sure to follow the directions for using the product. Do not vary from the directions. If it says spray once do not spray it five or six times. When using any cleaning product be sure the area is properly ventilated. Open up a window if you need to. Do not have children or pets in the room when using cleaning products. Birds are easily affected by chemicals so if you own a bird place it temporarily in another room.
